When working with a designer for event signage here's a few tips:
1) Make sure they understand the difference between materials.
2) They know the correct specs and where to place grommet holes and similar items.
3) That you always see a final proof that is labeled with the correct size, material, and all holes marked.
4) You see a final print quote with everything spelled out including delivery method, date, and location.
And the biggest tip is to work with someone that is experienced in signage.
