Facebook is working on its own crypto currency. Can you imagine what this would change for advertisers running campaigns on Facebook? I'm predicting a deeper desire for Facebook/Instagram to make buying products inside their platforms even easier while controlling 100% of the currency. PRICING THRESHOLDS: $997 seems to be the top of the line when it comes to "add to cart" style sales. Beyond that, sales calls are required, or at the very least - offered. I just worked with an outsourced sales agency that was closing $6,500 sales with a 46% close rate of qualified leads. That's NUTS! Happy to pass along an intro if anyone is looking to outsource their sales calls.

FEEDBACK? Subject lines - how important are they, really?

There's an overwhelming amount of click-bait articles and "research" surrounding subject lines. So many people get analysis paralysis when writing as they search for the "perfect" subject line.

Ultimately, subject lines matter very little (for most audiences). What's more important? Sender credibility.

What's sender credibility?

The association that your recipient has with your name. If you're blasting nothing but promotional messages to your list, you'll destroy your sender credibility.

Recipients will see your sender name and think, "Argh. Not Sam again. He keeps spamming me with 'salesy' stuff I don't want to read." And your message gets deleted. Theres not 1 subject line that could save your relationship (for the long haul especially).

When your recipient associates value with your name, your open rates will be consistent and predictable regardless of the subject line.

My wife and I were strolling our downtown when we saw this ad in the window of a jewelry shop. Living in a town whose primary industry is tourism, we see a lot of ads, but this one was different. It stopped us both in our tracks.

It read, “Long-Term Wife Insurance” and was accompanied by a photo of a diamond ring. There was another ad next to it that read, “If she said she wanted an engagement truck you wouldn’t hesitate.”

We cracked up laughing. Five months later, I’m bringing my wedding ring there to get resized.
