It’s a rainy Monday morning here in Northeast Ohio. ☔️

Nothing brightens my mood and helps prepare me for a Monday quite like coffee and prayer time, followed by putting on my colors and completing my House of Colour bespoke makeup routine. 💜💄

Everything is the same in these photos—the lighting, my clothes and my hair—except that on the right, I’ve completed my five-minute (or less!) makeup routine.

A little moisture and complexion balance, mascara and light eyeshadow to complement my eyes, plus my bespoke blush and lip gloss…and ahhh, I’m feeling much more ready to face my Monday!

Playing along with the “show me what I would’ve looked like in the ’80s” trend—and apparently, 1986 Kendra understood the assignment. 💙

The shoulder pads. The silver statement earrings. The cool berry lip. And that glorious hair!

I’d consider bringing it back…but I’m not sure the ozone layer can handle another round of ’80s hairspray. 😂

Trends change from decade to decade, but color harmony never goes out of style. When you know the colors that naturally complement you, you can make any era your own.
