Folding clothes is my demise, and has been for as long as I can remember π©
Every couple of weeks, i find myself in this predicament... surrounded by what seems like thousands of little kids clothes, looking like something exploded.
Every couple of weeks, I get a little grumpy thinking about the fact that folding all of these tiny articles of clothing falls on my shoulders.
& then every couple of weeks, as the 45 minutes that it takes me to do this task passes, the grumpiness turns to guilt, which turns to realization, which turns to thankfulness.
Thankful to have 3 healthy babies.
Thankful to get to love on those babies all day long.
Thankful to have clothes for them to wear.
Thankful to have a couch in a house to sit on as a I do this "chore."
Thankful that "i get to" not "have to."
Perhaps, God puts the mundane, never ending tasks in our lives because he knows that every couple of weeks we need a reminder of just how blessed we truly are π«Ά
