Thank you, Scheels (Fargo, ND) for hosting another fantastic Ice Fest!
This was my sixth year being a part of this event, and every year I’m reminded why it’s one of the best in the industry. Scheels consistently puts on a class-act show, and I’m honored to participate year after year.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booths, purchased products, and helped support the brands I’m proud to represent. It’s always great catching up with so many good friends in the industry—and even better when I get to meet new faces. I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving, and I’ll see you out on the ice very soon!

One of the standout projects I had the honor of working on for Striker was the promotion of a key addition to their 2025 lineup: the Shield Float Vest. This innovative piece exemplifies Striker’s unwavering commitment to performance, comfort, and—most importantly—safety.

Striker has long been recognized for its dedication to keeping anglers warm and dry in the most demanding conditions, but safety remains at the core of every product they develop. The Shield Float Vest integrates their advanced Sureflote® flotation assist technology, designed to provide critical buoyancy in emergency situations. As part of this project, I will be demonstrating how Sureflote® functions in a real-world scenario, simulating a situation where an individual falls overboard into the water.

Beyond flotation, Striker’s commitment to safety extends to the meticulous design and construction of their gear, ensuring durability, mobility, and thermal protection.
