A lot of people know me from Flint City Bucks, community events, sponsorships, marketing, and being constantly all over Genesee County 😅 but one thing I genuinely love is helping small businesses figure out what actually works for them.

I have some extra time Monday–Friday between 10 AM and 2 PM, so I’m opening up a few one-hour consultations through Flint Made Marketing.

This isn’t some big corporate marketing pitch. Honestly, sometimes business owners just need someone to bounce ideas off of, look over their social media, help with branding, community outreach, events, partnerships, or figure out why certain things are or aren’t working.

A one-hour consultation is $45 and includes:

Hi, I’m Mary, the face behind Flint Made Marketing.

Everything I do is rooted right here in Flint.

I started my career at Patriot Ambulance, where I learned how to truly connect with people and build relationships that matter. From there, I stepped into digital media with FOX/NBC (Mid-Michigan Now), where I sharpened my skills in storytelling, branding, and reaching the right audience the right way.

Today, I’m proud to be the Marketing & Community Coordinator for the Flint City Bucks—working with sponsors, driving ticket sales, creating community partnerships, and helping build experiences that bring people together at Atwood.

And on top of that… I run Flint Made Marketing.

Dear Social Media Marketers — Stop Posting Just to Fill Space.

More posts do not equal better results.
More noise does not equal more traffic.

Data consistently shows that content tied to clear goals, audience insights, and proper timing can perform 2–3x better than random “just because” posts.

I usually post once a day or 1-3 times a week — intentionally. If I post more, there’s a reason behind it. Strategy over scrambling.

It’s not about being loud.
It’s about being aligned.

Not chasing viral moments —
but building real relationships and trust over time.
