Another great community initiative we're proud to help share!

Broward Education Foundation has launched its annual Back to School Supply Drive to help ensure Broward County Public Schools students and teachers have the supplies they need for a successful school year.

Last year, the drive supported more than 130,000 students and 12,000 teachers across 195 schools. Whether you donate school supplies, host a collection drive or make a financial contribution, every gift helps create brighter futures in our community.

The drive runs through August 31. Learn how you can get involved and make a difference this back-to-school season.

Our team was honored to support LifeNet4Families for the launch of a major initiative, distributing 400,000 free National Child ID Kits to families across Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Collier counties.

We helped convene community leaders, local government, law enforcement agencies, nonprofit organizations and elected officials to combat child exploitation and human trafficking.

This crucial initiative will help parents and caregivers proactively collect and securely store critical identifying information in their own home that can assist law enforcement if a child is ever reported missing. The program's FBI-approved inkless fingerprinting technology allows families to collect and store their child's information privately at home, ensuring critical information is readily available in an emergency.

We are proud to share this important message throughout the region.

We were honored to help share the story of a remarkable investment in Broward County’s future workforce today at McFatter Technical College & High School.

Broward Education Foundation, Broward County Public Schools and Advance Auto Parts Foundation celebrated a transformative $100,000 donation that will enhance McFatter’s Automotive Technology Program through professional-grade tools and financial support, helping students earn industry-recognized Automotive Service Excellence certifications and prepare for high-demand careers in the automotive and diesel industries.

The partnership underscores the shared commitment of Broward Education Foundation, Broward County Public Schools and the Advance Auto Parts Foundation to expanding career and technical education opportunities and building a strong pipeline of skilled professionals for the future.
