No one likes being constantly advertised to. Although it is useful—and necessary—for businesses to promote their products or services through social media, excessive advertising can turn consumers away. Instead, try to strike a good balance between self-promotion and actionable content.

So, what is actionable content? This refers to content that can be easily implemented by the viewer. It should be informative, succinct, relevant, and entertaining. One of the most common examples of actionable content is the “how-to” post. People like to learn new things, especially when they pertain to their pre-existing interests. Keeping this in mind will help attract more traffic to your page and more interest in your brand.
