Today’s algorithm is looking for signals that tell it your content is genuinely valuable to people. That means actions like shares, saves, meaningful comments, Messenger shares, and even WhatsApp shares often carry more weight than a simple like.

What does that mean for businesses?

Instead of creating content that encourages someone to quickly tap the like button, focus on creating content people want to keep, share, and come back to later.

For example, rather than saying:

👉 “Double tap if you agree.”

Try:

👉 “Save this for later.”
👉 “Send this to a business owner who needs to see this.”
👉 “Share this with someone who could use this tip.”

These actions tell Facebook that your content is useful, relevant, and worth showing to more people.

The goal isn’t just engagement anymore—it’s creating content valuable enough that someone wants to save it, share it, or send it to a friend.

The next time you’re creating content, ask yourself this:

Would someone save this, share this, or send this to someone they know?

Do exactly what everyone else is doing.

The brands that get noticed aren’t always the ones with the biggest budgets or the fanciest equipment. They’re the ones willing to look at things differently, take creative risks, and show up in ways their audience hasn’t seen a hundred times before.

If your content looks exactly like everyone else’s in your industry, you’re giving people no reason to stop scrolling.
