The life of a yearbook adviser is never boring. So proud of my staff! They delivered and distributed over 8,200lbs of yearbooks around campus over the past two weeks while also prepping for their finals that started today.

My job may be hectic, but gosh I sure love it!! Thanks for a great production cycle and delivery 🚚

I loved this Photoshoot from last Monday. What a wonderful young lady to photograph, and help her document her impressive pole vault career. It was awesome to help freeze this moment of time for this Senior and their family to enjoy for many years to come!

Always check the output of any AI… let me say it louder for those in the back:
ALWAYS CHECK AI’S WORK.

AI isn’t replacing artistry, attention to detail, or the creative process anytime soon. Use it as a tool, but don’t turn your brain off.

I do appreciate the AI-assisted culling in Adobe Lightroom… but it’s not saving me time yet

Senior Season is Here!

I got the opportunity to photograph a colleague’s son as he prepares to graduate from college. I headed to Stephenville and spent an evening revisiting the campus where I first started my college education.

While I never finished at Tarleton State, I still have love for the school I started at. It was great to see how the school has grown, and to capture this milestone moment for Cameron and his family.

PSA to my fellow photographers and small business owners: Trust your gut!

I almost spent time drafting a contract for a “client” who:
- Wouldn't hop on a 5-min call.
- Used a street address instead of a venue name.
- Insisted on a digital check.

I called them out and they immediately ghosted me. Keep your business safe and your standards high!

My secret to great family photos? Letting the chaos happen. ✨

I keep it easy, I keep it real, and I definitely let the kids hang upside down if that’s what it takes to get the smile. If it’s been way too long since your last session because the idea of “perfect” poses feels exhausting… this is your sign.
