8 Thirteen (8XIII) - Logo System (Dropped)

Not every direction is the right one.

This was an early attempt at branding 8XIII. The craft is there. But the identity isn't mine. I'm a Fort Worth native, born here, shaped here, but this reads more Cowboys game day than who I actually am. The western hometown vibe felt like I was borrowing someone else's aesthetic instead of building my own.

Knowing what doesn't fit is part of the process.

Lisa Yaro - Logo System

I was inspired by Lisa Yaro, an actress, singer, songwriter, and model. I wanted to create something that felt like her, something that truly represented who she is. It started with wondering if I could write her initials in one pen stroke, and that's when it hit me to try them as an ambigram. It worked. This is also my first ambigram, so this one means a lot to me.

Doc Strange - Logo System

Doc Strange is a DFW-based hip hop artist and one of the most distinctive voices in the Texas underground. The brand system leans into exactly who he is: the spy film energy, the abstract thinking, the villain cool. This is a full redesign/expansion of his original logo I designed years ago.

Strange. By design.
