One week ago, we kicked off MKAF's 25th Anniversary Season of Events with the resurrection of the Arts Guild Luncheon. Our committee hit a homerun by partnering with Wendy Rodrigue. Her poignant yet inspirational program was a wonderful reminder that art touches our lives in many ways and we should never give up on our vision.

What a memorable experience to kick off Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s return of the “Love for the Arts” Guild Luncheon featuring Wendy Rodrigue with the Life & Legacy Tour of George Rodrigue. Wendy’s gift to tell a story that is totally captivating from heartache to preserving the legacy of George! Edgar Degas stated “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see” and that is the Life & Legacy behind George’s masterpieces of the Cajun people and his beloved Blue Dog.

Always honored to support Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation due to their incredible support of 16 local charities helping children in need in Northwest Florida. Great to see so many friends at the 2019 Harvest Wine and Food Festival. For those who missed this year's amazing wines and culinary delights, there's always the South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival and Destin Charity Wine Auction, April 24-26. Cheers!🥂

Proud to be a founding member of Eggs on the Beach Big Green Egg Festival at Seascape Resort. Especially proud that the event provides support and exposure to many local non-profits, including Food for Thought and Fisher House of the Emerald Coast. This year's non-profit team winners, Rotary Club of Destin, Sinfonia Gulf Coast and South Walton Academy also received cash prizes. Special congrats to the Westonwood Ranch team for their 3rd place Judges Award. Cheers to all enjoyed and benefited from the 6th Annual EggFest!
