Go open your Google Business Profile right now.

Most contractors set it up once and never look at it again. And there is one section that is almost always empty or wrong.

Go to your profile and find the "Services" section. Not your category. The actual services list.

If it is blank, or if it just says something generic like "Contractor," Google has almost nothing to work with when someone searches for a specific project. Kitchen remodel. Bathroom addition. Whole-home renovation. Those words need to be in there.

Google uses your services list to match your business to what people are actually typing. The more specific and complete it is, the more searches you show up for.
Spend ten minutes today and fill in every service you actually offer. Use the words your clients use, not industry terms.
