Have you ever seen a hot air balloon flown inside another hot air balloon? WeeMax the RC RE/MAX balloon was inflated inside its big brother at the Hot Air Affair Rising Above Cancer in Anderson SC. The kids at ACTC came out for a lesson on how balloons work. Just for reference, the RC balloon is 2 1/2 stories tall. Can you guess the size of the big balloon???

What a great night for baseball. REMAX was proud to support the Greensboro Grasshoppers at the game last night against the Hub City Spartanburgers. Our Remaxballoon Photo Booth stayed busy with fans getting photos and having those curious questions answered about hot air balloons. We even had the basket for WeeMax, the remote controlled RE/MAX balloon, on display. Even the 3 Grasshopper home runs were enough to get ahead of the Spartanburg. We congratulate the Spartanburgers on their win. The night was capped off with a great fireworks display. The Grasshoppers are a great organization to work with and we have been proud to be a sponsor for over 10 years.

We enjoyed a fantastic time at the Triangle North Airfest with our static display, which enabled many to get acquainted with a balloon and pose questions to the pilot; we were also delighted by visits from Rameses from UNC-Chapel Hill and Mr Wuf from NC State University!

The Great Texas Balloon Race featured a spectacular sunset show by the RE/MAX Skydiving Team, with the RE/MAX of Texas Balloon being a major highlight.

Nobody does it better or bigger than REMAX. RE/MAX operates the largest fleet of balloons in the world with over 100 in the current fleet. The first Remaxballoon was created for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. It first flew on October 8th 1978. Since then the RE/MAX Balloons have flown at balloon festivals and events for our agents and offices.

Happy National Hot Air Balloon Day!

Observed each year on June 5, National Hot Air Balloon Day celebrates the beauty, history, and science of hot air balloons. It honors the earliest form of human flight, tracing back to 1783, when the Montgolfier brothers, Joseph-Michel and Jacques-Étienne, created the first hot air balloon in France. Soon after, Jean François Pilâtre de Rozier became the first person to fly in one.
The day also celebrates ballooning’s adventurous spirit, its place in aviation history, and its lasting appeal as a recreational activity. Had a great time with the Greensboro Grasshoppers Friday night with our RE/MAX Balloon Experience Photo Booth. Congrats on the no hitter win against Hub City Spartanburgers! The Grasshoppers are a great organization to work with!
