The Classroom had the pleasure of spending the evening with the wonderful ladies of Lifeline Church in Greenville, Alabama. Their group enjoys gathering together to build friendships, encourage one another, and strengthen their sisterhood — and we were honored to be a part of it.

They invited us in to teach a patriotic flower pot painting class, and it turned into such a fun evening filled with fellowship, good food, laughter, and creativity.

We absolutely love opportunities like this — bringing people together through fun, hands-on projects and making memories along the way.

If your church group, ladies group, organization, or friends would be interested in hosting a creative event like this, we’d love to work with you! We can host your group or travel to you.

Give us a call and let’s plan something fun together!

It’s been another crazy busy week here at A Color Affair, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Here are just a few photos of projects we’ve completed over the past several days.

This week alone, we installed vinyl on semi-truck trailers, created class reunion props, graduation banners and shirts, custom window vinyl, birthday banners, 10 foot backdrops, baby arrival shirts, custom apparel designs, and even honey labels for a local beekeeper.

Oh — and we also hit the road for The Classroom, where we had an absolute blast painting terra cotta pots with a great group of ladies for some patriotic fun!

We may not do everything… but we sure come pretty close. No matter how big, small, simple, or creative the idea may be, we love helping bring your visions to life.

Thank y’all so much for supporting us and trusting us with your projects. We truly love what we do!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

The good for the day: I finished the first of many murals for Conecuh County Early Learning Center in Evergreen. Yeah! Awesome! I get to move onto the next mural.

The oops for the day: I was on the scaffold, only 4 feet in the air, just painting away and my foot slipped on the matting and it slid out from under my foot. So there I am, black paint cup in one hand, my paint brush in the other hand and my legs started doing the splits. I didn't have any hands to grab anything and I was so concerned about my paint cup and the wall I was working on so the only thing I could think to do was stand on one foot and hope I can get straight on one leg. I didnt fall off the scaffold - my leg slid down the ladder side of the platform and i had to pull my leg up while balacing on the other leg. Y'all!!! I'm so glad no one was watching me!! I smacked the crap out my shin on the scaffold bar and I think I used every muscle I have to balance like a flamingo! 6 hours later and I'm feeling it!!! The lump on my shin is massive!

And what do I do?! I look it up on google!!

Google says: A large, hard lump on the shin after a direct hit is likely a subperiosteal hematoma (a collection of blood under the membrane covering the bone) or a bone bruise. While typically treating with rest, ice, and elevation for several weeks, it can take 3–6 months to fully.

I hope the internet is wrong about the 3-6 months!!! That's all I'm gonna say!
