Some pieces feel less like places and more like thresholds.

This new work continues my search for atmosphere, light, and the quiet emotional spaces that exist somewhere between memory and imagination. I have always been drawn to clouds, open horizons, and the kind of light that makes you pause for a moment without needing to explain why.

For me, this piece is not about a specific landscape. It is about the feeling of standing before something larger than yourself, where the world becomes still enough for your own thoughts to surface.

Hushed Reach

This piece belongs to the longer return to landscape work that grew out of years of studying atmosphere and trying to understand what an image can do beyond simply describing a place. It stayed with me because it carried the kind of presence and emotional weight that first pulled me back toward this direction. Like much of the work I am making now, it comes out of an ongoing search for images that offer reflection, steadiness, and quiet strength.

This mornings Blood Moon over the pacific ocean. You can almost never get a clear shot of the moon as it sets out towards Catalina Island because there is always a thick marine layer but for once it was clear and on the exact day of the blood moon, pretty rare!😎
