(Late) Week 5: Fruit - I do not claim to be a world renowned food photographer, however, this was a fun and challenging prompt. My inspiration was the scripture, 2 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV) “For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” We all know the phrase “comparing apples to oranges,” yet we still compare ourselves to others, or even others to others. We are all different, who said there is a grading scale at who does what better? Or whatever the case may be. We all have strengths and weaknesses, designed by God and that’s why we need each other. Week 3 Challenge (even though it’s definitely not week 3 anymore): Red. For this challenge, I chose a simple subject, not just because it’s red, but also mostly to experiment with light. In the , they’ve been discussing manipulation of light. So I was inspired to use something simple while using 2 flashlights in my dark hallway. I am pretty pleased with how this turned out. It also made me incredibly thirsty. 😅 Hoping to finish catching up with the challenge soon! 52weekphotochallenge
