form nautical navigation. It’s purpose was two-fold, magnify and focus light. The combination of these created an effective signal for passing sailors. We find the fresnel lens an inspirational symbol of what strategic marketing should do. We all operate in an world of limited resources whether you are a large multinational corporation or a small, local non-profit.
