At The Children’s Business Fair, we believe that children, when allowed to unleash their creativity, can do just that: change the world. We hope that you will be a part of that. This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The basic structure of the fair is this: Kids create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace. The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and interacting with customers. Please see below website for the event:

Every booth at the South Shore Children's Business Fair was dreamed up, built, and run by a young entrepreneur ages 6–14. On September 26th at the South Shore YMCA in Hanover, they'll finally get to show you.

Next Saturday, September 26th, around 25 young entrepreneurs ages 6–14 will open their businesses at the South Shore YMCA in Hanover. They've worked for weeks. They're ready. And they cannot WAIT to meet you.

Starting tomorrow, we're counting down every single day — because these kids deserve a full house cheering them on. 🙌

Another young entrepreneur you have GOT to meet! 👋

Meet Llyr, age 11, founder of Llyrs Luscious Libations. We asked what advice they'd give another kid who's nervous to start a business. They said: "The most important part is coming up with a selling point, by then you've already succeeded. Everyone who is coming in to the fair is expecting to buy a few things they just don't know which things yet, that's why you need to tell them (as convincingly as possible) that your product is something they need or want."

🎨 Wander over for face painting and giant bubbles
🐴 Say hi to the animals and catch a hayride
🎶 Grab a bite from the food trucks

The heart of the day? Watching South Shore kids shine as they run their very own booths. Everything else is just the delicious cherry on top. 💙

Some kids leave the South Shore Children's Business Fair with a bag of goodies. Others leave with something much bigger — a spark. ✨

They watch a 9-year-old confidently explain their pricing. They see an 11-year-old handle a line of customers. And something clicks: ""I could do that too.""

That spark has launched lemonade stands, bake sales, driveway shops — and yes, real future businesses. It all starts by simply showing up and watching kids their age do something brave.

It's spotlight time again! 🌟 Meet Sophia and Zoe, ages 7 & 5 — the creative force behind 'Sticks & Stones'.

Sophia told us the best part of running a business is "making the sales." And honestly? We couldn't have said it better.

Every plant stick is made with real care, and Sophia has been counting down the days until they can share her NEW business with you at the South Shore Children's Business Fair.
