๐ Date Night Review: Mia's in Downtown Waukesha
We spent Saturday night at Miaโs in downtown Waukesha โ and itโs got that timeless Italian charm that makes you feel like youโve stepped back a few decades (in a good way).
The vibe leans vintage Italian, the kind of spot where you could easily picture Sinatra or Tony Bennett playing softly in the background while you sip a glass of red. Itโs cozy, familiar, and has that โlocals knowโ kind of character that gives downtown Waukesha its charm.
Our server was excellent โ friendly, conversational, and made the whole experience relaxed and easy. We started with the Antipasto Salad, which came with two massive pieces of garlic bread โ practically a meal on their own. The salad had fresh mozzarella and some fantastic olives, perfectly dressed and full of flavor.
For dinner, we went with the EBF Pizza, and it didnโt disappoint โ loaded with toppings, well-seasoned, and a great balance of flavor and crunch. Paired with a bottle of red wine (half-off on Saturdays), it made for a great date-night combo without breaking the bank.
Also we saved $5 buy using our Waukesha County Cocktails Book!
If thereโs one thing that could make the atmosphere even better, itโd be keeping the all background music in that Rat Pack lane โ Sinatra, Bublรฉ, Tony Bennett โ something to fully match the old-school Italian vibe and make it feel like a true throwback supper club. Even adding small touches like table candles could make the setting feel extra warm and romantic.

Great food, warm service, and a classic Italian feel thatโs comfortably lived-in. A little polish on the background music and ambiance, and Miaโs could easily climb higher on the list of go-to date night spots in Waukesha.
