Life Lesson: People with disabilities can do anything they put their mind to - including creating fashion!
Supporting a collaboration between Camp Cole South Carolina and Alivia, an emerging NYC fashion brand, has been pure joy. We worked quietly behind the scenes to create a captivating pitch that landed the mission-aligned brands on NBC’s TODAY on May 19.
To say we’re overcome with pride is an understatement. We are in awe of Camp Cole Co-Founders Kelsey Carter and Margaret Deans Grantz, and Alivia Founder Jovana Mullins. These women are visionary leaders with open hearts and accepting mindsets, providing a place for people living with illnesses and disabilities to shine and opportunities to achieve more than anyone imagined.
The collaboration centers on Kate Liggit, Lila Mozingo, Ann Mealing, and Liz Twitty, new fashion-designing superstars from Columbia, SC, who are finally defined by what they can do, not by what society says they can’t.
Sincere thanks and kudos to the incredible April Santiago for her storytelling magic!
