If February had a theme, it would be: why is it still dark at 5pm?

It was busy, the weather was absolute s**t, and I swear the sun just… didn’t exist. I felt like I was running on fumes half the time.

But we made it. And now we’re finally heading into longer days, more light, and a little bit of life coming back. Thank God.

So here’s what got me through the chaos… the little things that made my days easier, better, or just more fun.

Sweet, sour, and somehow gone in five minutes every single time. These were a full family situation, which honestly says a lot because we all like different things. If you bring these out, just know they will not last. Get some next time you shop at Trader Joe's.

Prom season but make it ✨custom✨

This past weekend we set up a Prom Bracelet Bar at Macy’s and it was so much fun watching everyone design their own little sparkle for the big night. Beads, hearts, initials, all the cute things. Some made matching bracelets with friends, some made keepsakes for prom night, and a few just came to play with beads because honestly… same. 💖

One of my favorite parts of what we do is creating these little moments where people get to sit down, get creative, and leave with something that feels personal. Jewelry hits different when you made it yourself.

International Women’s Day always makes me pause and think about the women who shape our lives every single day. The moms cheering on the sidelines. The friends who show up with coffee and honest advice. The daughters growing up strong, bold, and completely themselves.⁠

This little corner of the world I get to run, Lovejoy Workshop, is filled with women like that. Creative women. Brave women. Women figuring it out as they go. Women supporting each other instead of competing.⁠

Hey friend,

March is my birthday month… which feels like the perfect excuse to celebrate all month long.

If you know me, you know I love a lot of things: my four kids, my five cats (yes, five… one is technically my grand-fur-baby), spicy margaritas, tacos, women’s sports, 90’s rap, donuts, bright colors, sparkly things, and a good messy top knot.

When a brand shoot feels like a field trip with your creative bestie… you know it’s a good one.⁠

We recently spent the day at the cutest little spot in downtown Newberg… Bubble Bear. And honestly? We were obsessed within five minutes. Bubble tea, waffles, adorable branding, dreamy light… it was basically a content playground.⁠

Courtney of Courtney Jade Photography (my bestie) and I teamed up for this shoot and had so much fun bringing their brand to life. These photos are exactly the kind of content small businesses need… beautiful, on brand images that can be used for social posts, promotions, menus, and graphics all year long.⁠
