To our amazing customers & friends,
Those who know us well know that we are generally private people. We have always preferred to keep personal matters personal and within a very small circle. However, after much thought, we felt it was important to share something that has had a significant impact on our lives this year.
Between January and May, Bryan underwent a series of appointments, tests, and procedures that ultimately led to an aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis. While this news has certainly changed some of our day-to-day routines, we are incredibly grateful that his treatment plan is moving forward and that we have a strong team of family, friends, doctors, and customers supporting us along the way.
Many of you know that our business is more than "just a job"—it's a huge part of our lives. Creating, photographing, printing, designing, and serving our customers continues to be a positive focus during a time that could otherwise feel overwhelming. The work, the relationships, and the opportunity to create for all of you provide a sense of normalcy that we are thankful for every day. At times like this, staying busy & doing what we love is a welcomed & positive distraction for us.
Our business remains open, and we are continuing to accept orders, schedule sessions, and serve our customers. If you've ever wondered why a reply occasionally takes a little longer than normal, this is why—but please know we are still here, still working, and still committed to serving our customers the way we always have. There may be occasional days when response times are a little slower due to appointments, treatments, or family commitments, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding when that happens.
To accommodate appointments & the unexpected, our store hours may occasionally fluctuate. We will do our best to communicate any temporary schedule changes in advance and appreciate your flexibility as we navigate the months ahead.
We also want everyone to know that this announcement is not a step back from our business. In many ways, the work itself has been one of the most positive and helpful distractions during this journey. Continuing to create, solve problems, celebrate milestones, and serve our customers gives us purpose and keeps life feeling normal when so much else is uncertain.
We're not looking for sympathy—we simply believe in being honest with the people who have supported our family and business for so many years.
More than anything, we wanted to be transparent and share what is going on behind the scenes. We are optimistic, staying positive, and taking things one step at a time.
And if you’ve been putting off that preventative appointment; DON’T!! Early detection will hopefully save Bryan’s life and keep him healthy & with us for decades to come.
Thank you for your continued support, kindness, and trust in our family and our business. It means more than you know.
— Bryan, Jennifer and Family
