I almost threw it away. ๐

This morning, I found a little note tucked inside my bag. My daughter had given it to me yesterday, folded so many times that I nearly mistook it for trash. ๐๐
When she handed it to me, she said, โMommy, donโt forget to read it!โ ๐ง๐ฝ๐
I told her I would. But the day got busy, and I forgot. ๐ฉ
After the school run this morning ๐๐, I was clearing out my bag when I picked up that crumpled piece of paper. I was this close to throwing it away. ๐ค๐ฝ๐๏ธ
Then I opened itโฆ ๐
A crooked smiling heart. ๐ A few colorful scribbles. ๐๏ธ A drawing of me๐ฅฐ โฆAnd the sweetest words:
โMummy, have a great day.โ ๐ฅน๐ญ๐
I stood there smiling at that little piece of paper, so thankful Iโd unfolded it first. ๐ฅฐ I can already hear her asking me later today, โMommy, did you read my letter?โ
Yes, baby, I did. And Iโm keeping it! ๐ฅน๐โค๏ธ even though you drew me without a nose lol ๐ I still love it! ๐
I put it back in my bag somewhere safe. Now I keep reaching for it just to smile one more time. ๐๐๐
Funny how a tiny note can stop a busy day in its tracks. ๐ฅบ
Sometimes the best part of your day isnโt the big thing you planned. Itโs the little thing you almost missed. โจ
As you go about your day today, pause for a moment and notice the little beautiful things in your life. ๐ธโ๏ธ They matter more than we sometimes realize.
