If you're a business owner thinking of how to grow your business and get more sales then this is for you 👇
The most common questions people are asking when trying to grow their business is:
How can I grow my business online? and
How can I attract clients?
Here are some gold nuggets:
Know who your customer is-you'd be surprised how many biz owners can't answer that question or go in depth with it. What are their pain points? What problems do they have? How can your business help them?
What is your plan to acquire customers-Alot of biz owners don't have a plan and wonder why they haven't made any progress!
Every business should have a website! IF you don't sell your services or products online, figure out a way to do it, it's 2021. Staying in one geographic location limits your growth. Having a website builds your brand and gets eyeballs on your business.
2nd: Make sure your website is optimized!! For the love of GOD make sure your website is optimized. What i mean is have the tracking pixel on your site (how else will you know who went to your site?) FB pixel, Google tracking, even linkedin pixel.
The pixel tracks people that go to your site as well as what page they were on and if they filled out your contact form/booking page/viewed your products ect. The pixel also enables you to run your ads better! Giving you valuable info on your customers and even how to better market to them.
Make sure your website loads fast. Google did a study and found as page load time goes from 1 sec to 3 secs, the bounce rate (how many people leave your page) increases by 32%!!!!
Make sure your Call to Action (CTA) is at the top half of the page. Every time a person has to scroll, your bounce rate increases.
Example: Lets say you run a ad and 10k people saw it, you get 2% click through or 200 people. Assuming your page loads fast, maybe 150-180 people will land on it. IF your CTA button is 2/3 the way down or requires 2 scrolls to see it, your bounce rate increases. 180, down to 100, 100 down to 40. Lets assume the Avg click through rate for websites are 2-5%, that would be 0.8 to 2 or 2 customers.
Now lets say you have the pixel tracking customers, you have the pic and more optimized on your landing page so your CTA is at the top. You run the ad, get 10k people see it, 200 click the ad, 180 land, 2-5% conversion rate: 3 to 9 customers. That's up to a 450% increase!!
3) Have a plan of attack to your marketing (here's a hint: I'm gonna show you)
Follow the 5 core functions to grow your business:
1: Lead Generation
2: Lead Nurture
3: Conversions
4: Delivery
5: Retain, Resell and Upsell
Lead generation should be your main focus!!! Build out multiple channels for consistent lead flow: FB, Instagram, Google or Youtube (videos are amazing for brand awareness and SEO of your business!)
Lead nurture is the 2nd priority! Build a system in place (ideally before you really need it). Automate as much as you can. This could be a chatbot on your FB page (helps answer FAQ of your customers), it could be an email auto responder when your out of the office to let your customers know you will get back asap! It could also be an automated follow up for any new leads or customer requests. 78% of customers buy from WHOEVER REACHED OUT FIRST!!!! Follow up is key! Follow up like your life depended on it!
Conversions is simply how many leads did you convert. Keep an eye on this metric to see if there are holes in your follow up systems or marketing.
Delivery is simply delivering your services to your customers and doing an awesome job so you get referrals!
Retain, resell and upsell-This is doing a good job that they stay with you longer, resell them on a service (if you offer a subscription based service) or upsell them on a higher end program/product or offer.
