Content marketing’s purpose is NOT to make your feed look pretty or “aesthetically pleasing to fit the vibes.” There’s a greater purpose of producing quality content, and that’s to drive tangible business results. Content marketing’s greatest purpose it to MOVE PROSPECTS TO THE NEXT PHASE OF THE CUSTOMER VALUE JOURNEY, and NURTURE THEM UNTIL THEY ARE SALES READY!

Any other purpose of content is secondary to the primary purpose. When you’re starting your content marketing strategy, do what Chalique Seabron coins as “throwing things out there, and seeing what sticks to the wall.” Once you’ve deployed enough content to get usable data, then make iterations of what was driving the most pipeline velocity. Don’t create content based upon your aesthetic, create content based upon what the data from your audience is telling you.
