It's been awhile so allow me to (re)introduce myself. ⁣

I’m Lelia, a Facebook ad strategist from small town Texas, and I geek 🤓 out over analyzing results, testing, and optimizing so that I can get the best ad results for my clients!!

Here's 5 random facts about me:
😄 I'm named after my great aunt and it's actually pronounced like "Leah" - think of it as the second "l" in "Lelia" is silent.
🚘 I love to travel, road trips are preferred.
🐕 My favorite animal is a dog, although cows 🐄 are a close second.
🌲 I'm definitely a country girl - you'll very rarely find me in the city even though I live just 40 minutes from Houston.
👶 I'm the youngest of 3 in my family, I have one older brother and one older sister.

Let's get to know each other, what is one or five random facts about you?!

Facebook and Instagram ads are always changing, there's a lot of moving pieces, and you always have to be testing. I think that's why I find them to so exciting — there isn't ONE right plug and go formula for what works when it comes to running Facebook ads.

The key is to build a number of different ads strategically (a much more detailed conversation than we have time for today) and then test, test, test.

But what do you even test, you ask? Here's 4 places to start:
✨ ad creative
✨ ad copy
✨ audiences
✨ placements

Do you have questions about testing your ads? Send me a DM and we'll chat!

Our lives are full of new opportunities and new starts. What has been the best new start you’ve had?⁣

If I really break it down, I have had many new starts but I can truly say, the best new start I ever made was when I left my "9-5". Now I didn't start my business right away and I had many in my life ask if I planned on going back to work when my son was older, I would reply "yes" but knew in my heart that wasn't what I wanted. I loved being home with my son but I did feel unfulfilled in ways so I made the decision to go back to my marketing roots and start my business. It was terrifying, I didn't know if it would work out, I didn't know how to find clients, and I didn't know if I had wasted our money on the courses I took. But at the end of the day, I knew that I loved being at home with my son while still helping my family financially and have something that was mine outside of being a mom. Sometimes the scariest new starts are the best new starts!⁣

And what about you? What's a new start you’ve had?⁣

Entrepreneurship is not easy and it's one of those things where you don't fully understand it unless you're in it. A little like motherhood, I absolutely love it and would not trade it for the World but, dang it can be hard sometimes!

Between all that goes into creating ad strategies, setting up ad campaigns, client communications, conducting research, copywriting, and managing my own business and networking, then add in working from home with while homeschooling my preschooler, it can make for some busy days.

But it’s SO worth it when you do what you love!! I absolutely love getting to interact with my clients and seeing the results I can get for them through paid advertising, I love getting to meet new women entrepreneurs and making new friends from around the country, and I love getting to be the one who teaches my son his ABCs! My love for what I do and the life it allows me to have is my motivation during those challenging days.

What keeps you motivated during those challenging days?

It's not always about what you're selling but what problem you help solve for your clients. So when you're speaking to your potential clients try to get in the mindset of how you can help them.

Here's a few questions to ask yourself to help brainstorm:
✨ What are some pain points that your ideal client has?
✨ How does your product or service help solve those pain points?
✨ What is a past story, successful client story or personal story, that you can share with your potential clients?

If you need help working through these questions or just want someone to bounce brainstorming ideas off of, DM me so we can chat!

One thing I've found is NEEDED in my business is systems. The only way I have the time to do all my client work, my own business work, and spend time with my son everyday is by having a backend system setup that keeps me from doing all the things in my business.

Technology is constantly evolving the way we communicate and interact with people and the world around us and there's one tech platform that I could not live without - Honeybook. I'm able to save all of my client information there, communicate with clients, set up workflows, and so much more! Do you use Honeybook or something similar? What system helps you keep your business organized?

If you're interested in trying out Honeybook, comment your favorite emoji below and I'll send you my link!

Here's some harsh truth — it's not the ads, it's you. 🤭 Yep, I said it!

But here's the thing, it's not your fault. You didn't start your business because you love audience research or ad strategy or stressing over analyzing your ad results. No, you started your business because you have a passion for what you do.

So why should you be expected to learn how to run your own ads on top of everything else you do in your business? Well, I have news for you...you aren’t supposed to know how to do this! I did, however, start my business so I could do these things. Just like you have a passion for what you do, my passion IS running Facebook and Instagram Ads for my clients!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀
So if you have been considering using ads to grow and scale your business but don’t really know where to start or, frankly, just don't want to, I'm here for you! Send me a DM or follow the link in my bio to get started!!

Growing up the advice given was go to college, get a job, go to work everyday — that the only way to be successful was to do XYZ. Yet, even at a young age, my biggest goal was to be able to stay home with my kids one day so how did XYZ fit in with my goal?

I had to step out of the idea of what it means to be successful and I'm so glad that I did! Now I have created a business that I love, I serve some amazing clients, AND still get to live my dream of staying at home with my son!

My point is, your success is determined by what you want and your journey to get there, not what someone else tells you it should be.

The best way to keep your audience full and sell your product or service is to ensure that you're reaching all of your audiences.

There are 3 main types of audiences that you want to market to.
❄️ Cold: people who have never heard about your business or what you can offer them, ideally they have similar interests to your offer and will become customers once they know about you.
⛅Warm: they know about you but still aren't quite sure what you can do for them, they're interested but need to trust you more before they buy
☀️ Hot: these are your people, they love what you have to offer them and rave about you to others

These three different groups are composed of different types of people, have different needs and have different levels of their familiarity to your business.

Want to learn more about these audiences and how to find them? Let’s chat! Send me DM or follow the link in my bio to get started.

One day my husband called and asked me if I wanted to meet him after work to go check on the cows and I said "no, I have too much to do". I just had too much work to do and I had to get it all done, no way I could stop early and go do that...but then I changed my mind. For some reason, I decided to call him back and say we would meet him after all. Once we got there we saw that this little guy was born, our first calf of the season 🐮

The thing is if I had stuck to my original decision and kept working when, let's be honest, I really didn't NEED to, I would have missed it! I'm definitely guilty of being a workaholic from time to time but I learned a lesson that night.

The truth is, the work really never stops. There will always be something that we think should be done. But the opportunity to spend time with those we love, doing the things we love won't always be there and I don't want to look back and realize I missed it. So while I love my business I've learned when it's time to put the computer down and go check on the cows.

So go check the cows...go on a walk...call an old friend...watch that movie you've been wanting to see. Just go live your life 💞
