Really enjoyed attending last night’s event and connecting with such thoughtful, forward-thinking professionals.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned throughout my career is that growth often comes from putting yourself in the right rooms, listening closely, sharing perspectives, and staying open to reinvention.

Feeling energized by the conversations around leadership, creativity, strategy, and where business is headed next. Looking forward to what’s ahead.

New Branding Project!

I developed some new logo options for the Chevron Phillips employee payroll deduction program that supports community involvement. This is the option they chose, along with some comps for polos and t-shirts. More collateral to come!

Step 15) Continued Brand Development New comps sent for client review after some back and forth with the CD this week. I think these still need some tweaks, but this was a super tight turn, so I’ll have some more time once we hear if any of these are approved.

Sneak peek into my next business venture! (Name chosen, but not registered yet) Fur baby apparel!
There will be digital downloads, clothing, etc. Am considering making custom items for your own fur babies too!

I’ve been going back and forth about leveling up my business now that covid life has changed so dramatically and I can actually get out to network in-person. I put this on my calendar as a motivation to get some new skills under my belt and finally start making some small business connections here in Houston. (I have been learning more about social media marketing and new web design technologies)

I have been stuck in my head about how much I want to actually work on my business again while maintaining a full-time position, adjusting to life in Houston and ongoing self-care…and of course, Paisley.

I am careful not to overwhelm myself with work, which is what I have done most of my life. Mostly, as a means to get out of the circumstances in which I was born into and to achieve my dreams, but also as a distraction to the pain I was in. This next chapter of my life, I want balance and peace. It can be hard to navigate when you are ambitious and used to hustling before it was cool. Never stop growing and trying even if the pace is a bit slower than before! ❤️
