This half cord of premium long-cut “firewood gold” — Black Locust — should reasonably bring in approximately $350 delivered and stacked this coming fall. The wood was cut, split, and stacked yesterday by Mike and me, with lengths ranging from 19” to 24”.
Last season, I charged this longtime customer $330 for a similar load, and he generously added a $70 tip in appreciation of the quality and service.

Be honest with me, firewood experts — would you consider this a true full cord, or should I advertise it as slightly less? 🔥
I stacked everything carefully myself and want to make sure I represent the quantity accurately and fairly. Firewood measurements can be surprisingly difficult to judge once the wood is stacked, and the last thing I want is to unintentionally overstate the amount in the listing.
For those who regularly buy, sell, or stack firewood, I’d genuinely appreciate your input.
Based on what you see: Would you list this as a full cord, or would you describe it as somewhat under a cord?
I’m simply trying to make the listing as honest and transparent as possible, so all knowledgeable feedback is welcome. Thanks in advance. 😊 🙏 🪵

I am new to the firewood world and would appreciate some help identifying this wood species. I received it for free and would like to know what type it is, as well as whether it would be safe to burn in an indoor fireplace.
I am located in southern Pennsylvania near the Maryland line. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated..
