We have a whole new appreciation for this breed and the phenomenal temperaments of our dogs specifically now that we have babies! It has been so special seeing my kiddos bond and grow a love for their sweet doggies!

We’ve had Star for about a week and a half now, and it’s amazing how much she’s already learned.
She’s truly bonded with Zoey and our whole family and is settling into her new life beautifully.
So far she’s doing great with her name, recall, sit, heel, and is becoming more comfortable walking calmly beside the stroller. This past weekend, it was time to put all of those skills to the test with her very first outing!
One thing that’s really important to us is creating positive, low-pressure experiences. Right now we’re focusing on short car rides and mini adventures so she learns that getting in the car doesn’t always mean a long, stressful trip.
We want the car to be a safe, happy place and for new environments to build her confidence rather than overwhelm her.
These little outings also give us the perfect opportunity to practice all of the skills we’ve been working on in real-world settings while continuing to socialize her in a positive way.
Star absolutely crushed it. Everyone at the store adored her, and she soaked up all the love, pets, treats, and hugs from both kids and adults.
She remained calm, confident, and eager to learn, and we couldn’t be prouder of how well she handled every new experience.
Watching her confidence grow every single day has been so rewarding, and we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next. 🌟🐾

It’s that time…

The high chair has officially been unlocked, and the dogs have officially been promoted to the baby’s personal dining committee and BFFS. 😂
Every meal now comes with a built-in audience, wagging tails, and a clean-up crew that’s always on standby. They don’t miss a single crumb, and honestly… I don’t think they mind this new phase one bit.

Watching our little guy grow into these milestones while our dogs patiently (or not so patiently 😅) wait beneath his chair has become one of my favorite parts of the day. It’s chaotic, messy, and absolutely perfect.

Here’s to first bites, messy faces, and the sweetest friendships growing up side by side. ❤️

We brought Athena out for some light sprints after Marbin’s 8 mile run! All of our dogs love being a part of his journey to completing his first marathon!

Marbin has completed multiple 5k, 10k, ruck runs, and a half marathon! He’s currently working toward his dream of completing a full marathon!

Follow along to see our dogs whip him into shape! Lol!
