Join us as we explore what it means to decarcerate and decolonize care and democracy, and work together to envision a shared future rooted in community, healing, and collective action.
Count US IN, Bri the Change, and Fuerza Unida invite you to a People’s Assembly in Fort Wayne focused on supporting organizers and care workers of color.

This gathering will create space to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations, share ideas and best practices, and build toward stronger, more sustainable communities. Sessions will include:
Coalition Repair and Relationship Building
“What’s On The Ballot”
Burnout, Recovery and Wellness
Community Care and Organizing Resources
Join us during lunch for an information and resource fair featuring local organizations, tools, and opportunities for community involvement.

Yesterday I worked my first election with Count US IN as an Election Defender.

It’s great work if you can get it. Thank you to my team for their support! We were able to engage over 80 voters.

I’m excited to see what we can bring to the General Election.

My name is Cierra Johnson and I would like to invite you to our next One Voice meeting on April 14th at 6pm at Polk Stables.

I am here as a resident of Martindale Brightwood, where I serve as president of One Voice, our resident-led, nonprofit, nonpartisan resource sharing group. Our mission is to serve as a unified network to collaborate, inform and advocate for the safety, empowerment, and advancement of Martindale-Brightwood residents.

One Voice is important to me because I have been living in Brightwood since I was 15 and they are the ones who offer real help to families just like mine. We are currently organizing against a proposed data center in Martindale-Brightwood but we need your help.

Come as you are. Bring what you have. You can effect change by giving your time, talent or your treasure.

We have to show up and show out to make sure that you reap the fruits of your labor.

We will have clear action steps for you at our next meeting April 14th.

I would love to see you there.

Our votes are our voice. My goal is to have the highest turnout in Marion County History. Let’s show our elected officials who they work for.

April 7, 2026: Early voting begins (Primary)
May 5, 2026: Primary Election Day
May 19, 2026: Registration reopens
October 5, 2026: Voter registration closes (General)
October 6, 2026: Early voting begins (General)
November 3, 2026: General Election Day – Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.

The people of Martindale-Brightwood deserve representation that represents them!
