Our October 2026 ocommunity give back this month was the start of our collection of items for our 3rd Annual Operation Senior Santa!! BUT - our community fulfilled the entire list within two hours of being posted!!!! What this means is we now have a way to bring even more community support by way of an item collection for a local Breast Cancer support group! ♥️🥰🎉🫶

🌟 EXTRA ENTRY FOR DOOR PRIZES UPDATE 🌟

Wow, Citrus County! We are absolutely blown away. Our first round of collecting items for Operation Senior Santa was amazingly fulfilled within just two hours of being posted thanks to the amazing community partners we have - before it was even October 1st! Because you jumped so quickly to help, that first round of our project is already fully taken care of. 🙌

To the businesses that donated to help fulfill our first Senior Santa list so fast: you will still receive the "little extra" surprise promised on that original post! Thank you for your incredible heart for our community.🎅🏻🎁♥️

Because that goal was met so early, we are shifting our spotlight to a second opportunity done in a completely different way than originally planned!

Originally, we were going to hold a surprise monetary donation drive at the dinner for a local breast cancer support group. Instead, we are pivoting to a direct item collection! We are partnering with our venue sponsor, The Pink Room, to collect exactly what this support group needs right now with monetary donations at the dinner still being available!

To ensure we meet their exact requests, please ONLY bring these two specific types of items:

⛽ Gas Cards: To help patients with the cost of driving to and from treatments.
📚 Inspirational Items: Think uplifting mugs, books, journals, and encouraging gifts.

• Just for attending: You get 1 door prize entry!
• Want EXTRA entries? Bring an item for the breast cancer support group OR bring a guest business with you to get an extra entry!

This year, we have proudly "adopted" two sister facilities in Inverness—Crown Court and Vera Assisted Living—to bring Christmas cheer to 50 amazing residents.

Thanks to Beebe Embroidery Source, we will have our beautiful Fellowship canvas bags again!! 🎉

To ensure every single senior gets a completely full, identical bag of holiday joy, our goal is to collect exactly 50 of each item listed below!

♥️Bring your donations to our October Fellowship Friday Business Dinner on Friday, October 16th.

Remember, bringing a give-back item earns you an extra entry into our door prize drawings! 🎟️

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have officially "adopted" two sister facilities right here in Inverness: Crown Court in downtown Inverness and Vera Assisted Living on Pleasant Grove Rd!

Together, we will be bringing 50 local seniors custom bags filled with Christmas cheer.🛍️🎄

The Bags: The amazing Fellowship canvas bags are graciously being made & donated again this year by Beebe Embroidery Source♥️👏🏻

This Month's Community Give-Back Mission: We will be collecting specific Senior Santa items at the October dinner in preparation for filling the bags. (A secondary list will be collected for our December give-back, with the official bag-filling and distribution days announced soon).

My heart is absolutely full looking back at our September Fellowship Friday Business Dinner, and it wouldn't have been possible without the extraordinary women of WIN!!! + additional volunteers!!!!

To say you "sponsored our venue" doesn’t even begin to cover the depth of your generosity. You didn’t just make our dinner location possible; you opened your hearts. From the very beginning of the night to the very end, the WIN crew was right there rolling up their sleeves to help with setup, gracefully serving everyone at our Olive Garden build-your-own pasta bar with the biggest smiles and working tirelessly through breakdown.

🎁 Let’s talk about our NEW way of doing Door Prize Sponsor Shout-Outs!

If you were at our September Fellowship Friday dinner, you probably noticed we shook things up a bit during our raffle—and it was an absolute blast!

Instead of our usual routine, we invited our Door Prize Sponsors up front to receive their special Certificate of Appreciation. Once up front, each sponsor personally drew a business card from our bucket to pick the winner of their prize. This allowed the sponsor and the winner to have their picture taken together right then and there!

For our amazing sponsors who couldn't make it in person, our host stepped in to draw the cards, and the lucky winners proudly posed with the winning baskets.

📸Why the change?
Saves Time: It kept the energy high and the night moving smoothly during dinner.

More Marketing Power: It creates fantastic marketing materials! Now, multiple businesses have high-quality photos to share on social media, showcasing real connections being made in our community.
