I was a crafty kid- I remember cutting out products from catalogs (remember those?) and sticking them to a notebook. Was that a mood board? What about the shrine I created to Taylor Swift on a bulletin board in my 9th grade bedroom? Whatever it is, it’s the energy I’m trying to channel going into the holiday (and seasonal affected disorder) season.

I’m a professional content creator and my last post was September 16… quite frankly, the last thing I’ve wanted to do after editing reels, designing stories, and strategizing (etc etc etc) for 8 different brands is turn around and create content out of my (relatively uninteresting) life.

So, I gave myself a break. And I went back to where it all started - to the place in my brain where my inner child is cutting out pictures of American girl dolls and Limited Too wishlist items.

This mood board? It’s my return to making things just because they feel good to make.

2024 recap a week late…

JAN- (/december) my deep fear of becoming my parents “in case of emergency” contact came to life. Lots of sweatpants and SVU episodes while my dad healed from a freak accident (if you know, you know)

FEB- making a DC resident a tourist for the weekend.

MAR- NYC is good for the soul, especially when you’re 30.

APR- trips up the east coast call for a stop in Chapel Hill for a Merritts BLT and cheerwine.

MAY- beach trips & forcing Ted to be a water dog..

JUNE- visiting Mama in Charleston.

JULY- Nuzzi on a boat + Noah Kahan at Fenway.

AUG- Teddy’s two week vacation on Nantucket. I will never tire of Madaket sunsets & Juice Bar ice cream.

SEP- September in NYC is perfection.

OCT- birthday gift Lake Street Dive tickets were put to good use (7 months later).

NOV- Friendsgiving & disposable camera appreciation pic.

DEC- Argentina has my heart.

The end. 2025 me will still probably be the social media manager with nothing to post on social. Sorry, not sorry!
