You'll notice that it's also available at its list price of $29.99 from Amazon. It should be available in other places soon, as I went wide with this one rather than just publishing through Amazon.

This is what I've been working on for the past year+: it's the first volume of a reference book on literary genres that will hopefully be useful for authors, agents, publishers, publicists, booksellers...pretty much anybody who works in the book industry. I'm looking to release it in January, and this is just a mock-up of the cover. The final version will be more refined looking. This volume alone will be over 500 pages. Any thoughts?

If you've released a book and are having trouble getting it into bookstores and libraries, ask yourself this: do you have clarity on your literary genre? Have you researched it enough to know what category your book belongs in, and looked at how other books within your genre are doing? I'm working on a new book that will help you do that. So sad to hear of the passing of fellow cat writer Carole Nelson Douglas. Met her at my first-ever Cat Writers' Association conference, and we bonded instantly! A legend in the business, author of the Midnight Louie series of mystery novels, she was also friendly, personable, and welcoming. A great loss!
