Four years ago, I was knee deep in creating things with my hands.⁠

From drink coasters to clean dirty dishwasher magnets, anything I could spin with my modern minimalist vibe was fair game.⁠

I do miss those times of going into the studio and just designing. It was cathartic and it stretched me.⁠
⁠
Though the algorithms limit a lot of my 14K reach these days, most of you were following me then and might remember these days.⁠

I used to insist on everything being just so. I would hold off on forward movement as long as everything was not the picture of perfection. While I thought I was being smart, it turns out my playing it overly safe took a toll on my progress.

These days, I joke about being a recovering perfectionist but there’s so much truth to this term that often evokes a light chuckle from others.

Do they giggle because they think it’s a joke or because they too understand the trap of perfectionism?

Let’s just start and figure it out on the way there, okay? I’m game if you are!
