I get it. By January 15, most of us had forgotten the goals we set on December 31st. The winter storms blew through, and it must have seemingly iced over certain individuals’ hearts, because multiple conversations I’ve had with those around me revolve around how cold the world feels lately. Especially when you see people proudly making statements that show how little empathy they have for their fellow human beings.
But if you’re a business owner, as I know many of my social media connections are, you’re feeling additional responsibility and weight.
✨ “How do I keep running my business when many are suffering and things feel uncertain?”
✨ “How can I support my employees and community when I feel overwhelmed myself?”
✨ “I can’t hit my goals for one month because I feel like it won’t make a difference.”
I understand, and I know it feels cliché for me to say, “You have to because we need you to.” But it is true.
We need business owners who care about their community. Business owners willing to share their story. Business owners who look at the world and want to fix it or create a better solution.
Business owners like you who have an invested interest in creating a better product, service, or business, not just to fund your lifestyle, but to create a better world.
What you are building matters.
Your community and loved ones matter.
Your story and voice matter.
And you can and will make a difference.
The Northern hemisphere is still resting. And it is okay for you to need rest too, and to prepare for all the future growth and potential to come.
Follow for more moments of connection, community, and support in building your business.
