Weekend plans? We have one.

Night Market on Argonne is happening Friday from 4:30–8 PM in Downtown Kirkwood. The Farmers’ Market is staying open late, Argonne will be closed to cars, and the evening will be filled with local makers, food, drinks and live music.

A pretty perfect way to kick off the weekend. ✨

Some homes are designed for outdoor living. This one was designed to make you want to live outside.

With layered gardens, multiple gathering spaces, thoughtful hardscaping, and a pass-through window connecting the kitchen to the deck, this home makes the transition from indoors to out feel effortless.

We loved getting a closer look at how Timberline Landscapes and Roeser Home Remodeling brought this vision to life—and how every detail was designed around the way this family lives and gathers.

A little space, a lot of imagination.

Our September Style issue explores the tiny outdoor retreats tucked into neighborhood backyards—from custom treehouses and backyard clubhouses to repurposed sheds and imaginative hideaways.

These spaces aren’t just places to play. They become reading nooks, secret headquarters, lemonade stands, gathering spots, and the backdrop for the kind of childhood memories that last.

Because great backyard design isn’t only about where the adults gather. Sometimes, it’s about creating a little corner of the yard where kids can dream, explore, get a little dirty, and make it entirely their own.

Discover “Tiny Outdoor Retreats” in our September Style issue.

There’s something so special about a home that’s designed not just to look beautiful, but to truly be lived in.

We loved learning more about Cindy Baker’s home and the thought that went into creating a space where her kids and grandkids could gather, play, watch a game and make memories together.

From the welcoming kitchen to the basement filled with a billiards nook, wet bar, shuffleboard, an arcade and plenty of Missouri sports pride, every space feels like it has a story to tell.

It’s a beautiful example of how thoughtful design can reflect the people who live there.

We’re so happy to feature this special home, brought to life by Simon Ashley Design Studio and Just Around The Corner Flooring, in our pages.

One of my favorite community traditions is almost here!

The Greentree Festival is one of those community traditions I look forward to every year. There’s just something about the music, the energy, and seeing everyone come together that makes it so special.
And I love that one of our KCL clients, Bob Mosby, is part of making the music happen!

Can’t wait for this one! Who will I see there? 🌳

Twenty-five years later, we remember. 🇺🇸

Every five years, Art Hill in Forest Park becomes a sea of American flags honoring the lives lost on 9/11, the First Responders who answered the call, and the military heroes who served in the years that followed.

What makes this tribute especially meaningful to us is that it began with a Kirkwood couple, Rick and Susie Randall, who wondered if they could bring a similar memorial to St. Louis after being inspired by a memorial they saw online.

What started at their kitchen table has grown into an incredible display supported by nearly 1,000 volunteers.

We were honored to share their story in our pages—and today, we remember the lives behind every flag.

We will never forget.
