Hey neighbor…
Rainy days don’t mean the fun stops though. When the weather turns, Knoxville families usually head indoors. A few spots around town that stay busy during rainy spring break days include:

• Muse Knoxville – hands-on exhibits that keep kids moving and learning
• Knoxville Museum of Art – free admission and a great way to explore local culture
• Maple Hall – bowling, food, and a fun place to spend a few hours indoors
• Token Game Tavern – classic arcade games and a casual hangout spot

One of the best parts about Knoxville is that even when the weather shifts, there are plenty of places around the city where families and friends gather.
If you just moved here, go check out some indoor fun!

Hey neighbor — one thing many new residents don’t realize right away about Knoxville is how many greenways and trails run through the city.

Knoxville has more than 125 miles of paved greenways and natural trails that connect parks, neighborhoods, waterways, and historic areas across town. They’re used for walking, jogging, biking, and just getting outside without needing to drive to the mountains.

Some greenways you’ll hear locals mention often include the Victor Ashe Greenway, Third Creek Greenway, and the Sequoyah Greenway.

If you’re new to Knoxville, exploring the greenway system is one of the easiest ways to start learning the city and its parks.

Have you been to the Salt Chamber at Bask Recovery Lounge?

When you move into a new home, you stir up more than boxes. Dust, allergens, new environments, different air quality — your body feels it.

Salt therapy is known to support respiratory health, help clear airways, and reduce inflammation. It’s a quiet reset for your lungs after unpacking, deep cleaning, and adjusting to a new space.

And yes… they have a sauna too.

If you’re new to Knoxville and looking for a simple way to recharge while your house settles in, this is one to know.
