I did what any reasonable UX designer would do when her household descended into chaos.

I wrote a system status report.

Turns out my kids are High-Friction Users with Low Navigation Skills. The dog is an Always-On Background Process. And my productivity line? Held perfectly steady until the 84th "Moooom." Then it didn't.

If you've ever lost a complete train of thought to a small person asking for a snack they could absolutely reach themselves — this one's for you.

Not a bad day. Just a UX problem waiting for a better map. 🐝
