STAT MED Urgent Care is in many ways a family – and has felt that way since Dr. Samaniego opened our first clinic in 2013 in the town where he and his family lived – Lafayette, CA. We feel Dr. Sam’s recent passing deeply – and based on comments made by patients, colleagues, and friends, we know that others do too.

Are you looking to book a COVID Vaccine appointment?

NOTE: If you can't book at the Lafayette clinic, STAT MED - Concord is at the Pleasant Hill border, in the mirrored building at the corner of the SunValley Mall -- plenty of free parking.

Covid Vaccines at STAT MED!

Contra Costa County has allocated Moderna COVID vaccines for STAT MED to distribute from our three Contra Costa County Clinics - Brentwood, Concord, and Lafayette.

Must book an appointment online. No phone registrations and no walk-ins.

Appointments are limited but easier to get than you might think! We just looked and there are some available this week!

Pro Tip: Appointments are easiest at our Brentwood clinic because it just opened and is not as well known! At this point, Concord (near SunValley Mall) is offering more appointments than Lafayette.

Must register online - no walk-ins and no phone registrations!

Go to statmed.com and click on the "book online" button.

Either way - pick a clinic, then choose "COVID vaccine" for your reason for the visit.

Vaccination appointments will then show. If you don't see any, check back another day. We are adding more dates!

Congrats to all our local student athletes -- Let the games begin!

Great News! We are just hearing that the high school sports programs for winter and spring sports are finally moving forward!

This also means required sports physicals and medical clearances are due, too.

To make it easier for families, we've opened up our online registration for sports physicals at all STAT MED Urgent Care clinics! Go to statmed.com -- pick your local clinic, then date and time. (Times are estimated.)

Please bring your required sports clearance form with you.

Reminder: Sports Physicals are not covered by insurance. STAT MED cash price: $80.
