Scribble Creates

Turns out moving to Lafayette didn’t mean leaving Cenla behind!!

Last week I joined the Crest Industries team at the One Acadiana meeting as we started planning a new commercial I’ll be producing with their Lafayette branch!

This one feels especially cool because Crest is headquartered back home in Central Louisiana. Getting to build Scribble here in Lafayette while still finding opportunities to work with companies connected to where I came from feels like the best of both worlds. 💌

Very grateful to the Crest team for trusting me with this project, and VERY excited to get behind the camera for this one!!

A broken tripod can't keep a girl down☕️

I’m excited to be working on the Emilia Pardo for City Court Judge campaign! We spent the morning filming content for the campaign, and when my secondary tripod decided to be a menace, a coffee cup became a crucial part to our production setup, very fitting for an 8am filming session.

Emilia is so passionate when she talks about her experience, her work, and the role City Court plays in our community, which has made creating content with her such a fun project. I’m grateful to be part of the team helping tell her story and introduce her to more of Lafayette!

Lots more to come between now and Election Day on November 3rd! 🗳️

Today was officially my first day working for myself FULL-TIME!!! 🥹💌

Which also means… I officially have some room on my books for a few more local businesses 👀

If you own a business (or know of a business) that could use better social media content, someone to take social media management off their plate, or just some general digital marketing help, send them to Scribble!!

I’m so thankful for the clients who have already trusted me with their businesses, their content, and their passion projects. Getting to build a business around helping other people show off what THEY do best is pretty much my dream job.✨

I moved to Lafayette five months ago knowing very few people, and I already feel so lucky to be building Scribble right here in the heart of Acadiana. There is so much creativity and so many cool businesses here, and it feels like the perfect home base for what I want Scribble to become.

So, HEY YOU! This is your sign. 💌

If your business has been saying “we really need to get better about social media” for the last six months… let’s get you on my books!

Social media content • Social media management • Video • Photography • Meta Ads • Digital marketing

After working on the ‘Round the Bend launch for well over a month- reading the book, writing about it, and overall just gushing to Val about how amazing it is, I finally got to hold the actual book in my hands yesterday (and have it signed by the author)!! 🥹📖

AND because Val is an angel, she surprised me with my first-ever piece of Scribble merch: a notebook with my logo on it. 😭

So yesterday I got to hold the book I’ve spent the last month helping bring into the world AND hold a little piece of the business I’m building in my hands, too.

Very, very cool full-circle moment. Just an awesome day overall. 🤍

Congratulations, Valorie!! I’m so grateful you trusted me to be a part of this launch. 🗺️
