Have you met your WHITE WOLF YET?
I once heard this concept, and it made me think a lot. I can’t remember the author of this sentence.
“People who have a trauma, it’s as if in the back of their minds there lives a wild animal, a WHITE wolf.
A few words, a few situations that are often THE SAME, wake up this white wolf. And when this White Wolf wakes up, he wakes up furious, violent, he starts BITING YOU, and when you’re being bitten by YOUR WOLF.
You start biting whoever YOU think woke up your wolf!!! And it becomes a CARNIFICINE, in the end YOU are completely bloodied, the person YOU BITE IS BLOODY TOO.
AND THE WOLF? The Wolf remains white, calm and goes back to the bottom of the cave “his mind” until he is woken up AGAIN...
BUT THERE IS another way to deal with your wolf... When the wolf wakes up, if you STOP AND LOOK INTO THE DEEP OF THIS WOLF’S EYES, it will stop biting you. And what you see in the depths of this wolf’s eyes is you seeing yourself as a child.
You begin to see the origin of your TRAUMA, you see the wolf cub itself, being born, and the child you see is a sad child who makes you cry.
Then you’re no longer the aggressive person. And as you look at the child and continue to cry, the white wolf withdraws.
At the end of it all, you end up weeping, and the WOLF LOVES IT. It’s sad, but it’s much better than having that blood everywhere, YOURS AND THE PEOPLE NEAR YOU. The Wolf went back to sleep, and you were a crying child.”
And how are you looking after your wolf? Did you realize when this wolf woke up what had happened? If you feel like it, post it in the comments.
ALWAYS take care of your white wolf.
