✨ So you got your colors done. Now what?

Here are some of my favorite ways clients put their palette to work. Shopping smarter, choosing makeup shades, picking jewelry metals and gemstones, building a wardrobe that feels intentional, hair color, and even home decor!

Always love being surrounded by women who are showing up for themselves. ✨ The Beauty Boost Fitness Sampler brought together a room full of women committed to their wellness and feeling their absolute best. The energy was everything! 💖

I had a vision of us hanging out and having the best kind of girl time during your color session. 🤩

Think fun pop music playing in the background (a color-themed playlist, of course), lots of laughing, and that moment when we start draping fabrics and it all clicks.

It’s relaxed, it’s personal, and it’s genuinely fun. You get to slow down, try things on in a whole new way, and experience color instead of just guessing at it.

And just maybe you might learn something about yourself you didn’t even realize you were missing.💖

That’s what happens when makeup meets your personal color analysis. 💖

You could even leave your color session with brand new makeup products from that complement your skin tone and palette perfectly.💄

As a Light Summer, I can’t get enough of Counter’s “Havana” cream blush, “Lily” lipstick, and “Luster” eyeshadow.

DM me if you want links or suggestions for other seasons!

Color analysis changed everything for me.

I used to be someone who didn’t want to be “put in a box.” I was proud of my ability to pull off lots of different looks, and I didn’t want anyone telling me what colors I should or shouldn’t wear. And don't get me started on the amount of time and thought went into recreating myself nearly every day. But my attitude completely changed after my first analysis. Once I saw what the right colors actually did for me, I was hooked.

And honestly, it came at the perfect time. I was in a season of life where I felt like I had lost my sense of style… and in some ways, a bit of myself too. Post-motherhood and post chronic-illness struggle, stepping into a new era, and just feeling so ready to feel fresh again. Color analysis gave that back to me. It helped me reconnect with myself in a way that felt simple, natural, and actually sustainable.

It gave me clarity in a space that used to feel overwhelming. Getting dressed became easier, shopping became more intentional, and I stopped second-guessing myself in the mirror. Instead of chasing trends or wondering why something felt off, I finally understood what truly worked for me.

It also brought back a sense of joy. Color became something I could trust and play with, a way to express myself that actually felt like me.

If you’re in the Lancaster, PA area, or willing to travel to one of the most beautiful countrysides in the U.S., I would love to help you discover your own palette. 🎨 Link in bio to book your session. 💌

Warm weather is BACK and I am not taking it for granted. 🌸

We’ve been slowly getting our porch set up for spring and summer, and honestly, it might be my favorite ritual of the year. I want it to feel like the very best welcome for my clients—from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Thoughtful, beautiful, and full of joy.

And I have to say thank you to my friend Katie, who always helps me get my outdoor space looking its very best. I couldn’t do it without her.

What’s bringing you joy this season?

The best gift is something she’ll use every single day. 💖

A color analysis session at My Colors Pop is more than a fun experience (though it is so fun). It’s a toolkit she’ll carry into every shopping trip, every morning routine, every time she looks in the mirror and thinks, “yes, this is me.”

Some of my favorite moments, especially during mother-daughter sessions, are the ones you can’t plan. The joy of playing with makeup together. The stories that come out about outfits worn to meaningful life events. And the way they look at each other, truly seeing both inner and outer beauty. It’s always full of so much love, and it never gets old.

And there is always excitement as they start making plans for future shopping trips and closet cleanouts together, color fans in hand. It’s always full of so much love, and it never gets old.

If you’ve been looking for a meaningful, one-of-a-kind gift for the mom (or grandma) in your life — this is it. Gift cards are available! Drop a 💌 in the comments or send me a DM and I’ll get you set up.

“Black looks good on everyone” is one of the biggest color myths out there.

I used to wear black all the time. It felt easy, classic, and like the “right” choice. So when I observed in my color analysis that black—and even navy—actually looked heavy on me because of my low contrast features, I was genuinely shocked.

It wasn’t an overnight switch. It took a little getting used to.

But now? Taupe and soft gray are my favorite neutrals, and I truly don’t miss black in the least.

If you have a warm color palette, black can actually drain color from your face. Warm neutrals like chocolate brown or warm charcoal will make your skin glow instead of competing with it. 🤎

And it’s not just about warm tones—even the cool, soft seasons of Summer can find black too intense. When your coloring is naturally delicate or low contrast, black can overpower rather than enhance.

That doesn’t mean you need to donate all the black clothes out of your closet. That’s not realistic.

Start by being thoughtful about what you wear closest to your face. As you add new pieces over time, look for softer neutrals that really complement your features.

It’s not about avoiding black completely—just don't rule out options that can be an even better fit for you!
