This week was a whirlwind of activities and to say I’m exhausted is an understatement, but like with every event the long days are so rewarding at the conclusion. After almost a year of planning today concluded Boyd Law’s 2-day symposium “Black Legal Furturism: If Law Centered African American Interests.” Pulling together scholars from across the country with Vegas community leaders and partners was a beautiful experience. Big thanks to our partners at the Westside Library for the use of their theater and amazing staff support, as well as ACLU of Nevada, UNLV Libraries, UNLV English Department, Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic. It takes a village!
