Most fat caps spray really nice on 94 and with the controllable valve, you can really cary the line width with some control. The NY Fat is probably my favorite on 94; the line quality is super nice and since it isn’t super fat, you can easily do whole pieces with just that cap.

A while back I saw a drone video of two wolves chasing a rabbit. I wrote about it before, but it’s one of those clips that’s been stuck in my head, so I ended up recording a podcast on it too.

The camera follows them for a while. Total chaos. Every few seconds it looks like the wolves are going to catch him.

The rabbit never slows down. Full speed, hard cutbacks, quick changes of direction. It uses everything it has until the wolves finally give up.

The reason it stayed with me is because our lives don’t feel like that most of the time. We’re not out there getting chased. Because of that, it’s easy to relax on our health and fitness.

But just because it doesn’t happen often doesn’t mean it can’t.

Being in shape makes normal life better: more energy, less stress, better mood. But it also matters in those rare moments when things get serious. An accident. A fight. A situation where you actually have to move, run, push, or fight harder than you have in years.

That’s not the time to realize you’re not ready.

You don’t have to live like prey every day, but it’s worth asking: if something heavy hit tomorrow, would your body be able to back you up?

If the answer doesn’t feel great, today’s a good day to start changing that.

PS: I just dropped a podcast episode going deeper on this idea of being physically ready for real life, not just the gym. You can listen to it here: graffitimachine.com

Shot this photo in 1993, but I can't tell who it is. Looks like a CBS tag on the piece and possibly a RobOne tag on the door. Anyone have any info on this?

The Elecrik Blue Drip Machine was one of the first colors we released after black and white along with the Slime Green. It’s one of the most opaque and drippy colors in the lineup. Really pops on dark surfaces, but it’ll also work well on light surfaces.

Had someone request to see an Astro Fat fill with a Universal Thin outline on a throwie. I think it looks okay, but with such a low output cap, I had to outline super slow to get a solid line. I usually prefer a higher output cap for a thin outline like a Lego or Pocket Cap. Those will get you a decent thin line without needing to paint at a snail’s pace.

I gotta say, the Pocket Cap is one of the top caps on my list. It’s fuzzy, but with some practice, you can get clean outlines with it. It’s a more forgiving cap than regular thin caps. It’s fun to paint with once you get past the soft nature of it. Dusty fills with a stock cap outline is some of my favorite graffiti out there.

The Needle Cap is one of my favorite caps. It’s a bit messy, but there’s a line quality you can get from it that you don’t get from other caps. I really like it for thin, dense borders around pieces, highlights, cracks and other details. It sprays pretty far, so you can use it to spray through fences. It also can be used as a transfer cap to refill cans.

The Heavy Dart is a unique cap. It sprays a lot like other fat caps; nice circle spray, but the shape of it allows easier control. The front of the cap gets you closer to the wall without tiling the cap. With some control, you can get fat sprays similar to a Pink Dot all the way down to super thin lines.

Tried these Ohuhu alcohol markers on a 228 and was honestly pretty impressed. You can get a 48-pack for around 20 bucks, which comes out to roughly 41 cents a marker. Compared to a lot of the higher-end alcohol markers, that’s a solid deal and they seem to perform really well. We don’t sell these, but they’re easy to find on Amazon and other places. Really not bad for paper slaps and blackbooking.

Had a request to see the Heavy Dart on Rusto with an adapter. It doesn’t spray the same as it does on regular cans. On normal female cans, it gives a really nice circle spray pattern, but Rusto can’t make it happen with this cap.
