I have a funny birthday, often the day we vote.
Always full of adventure and renewal.
And always exactly what it needs to be for me.
This year I turn 55, and for me a bigger milestone than ever.
Slowly over the course of my life, it feels like I’ve come into tune, like a violin, transforming from terrible squawks, into harmony and resonance.
Both inner and with the outer world. My speed of thought has slowed and better matches this world, this plane we’re on.
I appreciate subtle things more than big fancy s**t. The taste of sweet in a fruit, or the crunch of sand under my feet, or the glow of the sun heating up the morning, again - getting a chance to try this life thing one more day.
Even though I still feel like the same kid I was, and can still harden my muscles with exercise and find endurance that rises to the occasion.
I finally feel in sync with who I am, the complex creature I’ve become. Exploring emotion, wisdom, what’s aligned and what is not took me a long time, like it does for me to learn so many things. But once I get it, I know deeply.
Like a compass to my true north, I’m on a mission and a grand adventure of service and love and transformation.
It’s always been the path, each chapter growing toward a thing that was always a little blurred… but now the characters are developed, the third act is in motion.
Thank you to everyone and everything that’s ever influenced me one way or another. Precious few know it, but I appreciate you… there is no councidence.
Let November be a time where you reset, define new boundaries and intentions. And find your true work and focus through your pure self inside. The one that so easily gets buried by all the words, opinions and “stuffs” from the land of 10,000 things we all navigate each day.
You can let it be easy, let it be strong, let it be really you. You don’t need to see you through them, a mere reflection of half thoughts and fractional beliefs.
Drop the shadow game, simply let go and let your true nature take the wheel. Let your soul take a test drive if you can let it.
Way down there you know. You have the knowing. Just emanating from within, trying to be expressed, it’s the path to pure joy. And in joy, you cannot go wrong, no matter what happens.
You’ll simply rise above and every answer will be right, every question will lead to the next best thing.
And even over what you might see as bumps, grand lessons are learned and the collective experiment we are on this planet right now - experiencing the space time as not Newtonian toys but the substrate of consciousness itself.
Learning, through you, about itself. Help it go, move faster, grow the light. Do the work, all light comes from loving and working and playing in it. Being, in confidence, going, feeling, impacting.
