We caught up with Tamera and Trent after they spoke during a recent Workforce Connections Board Meeting about their experience in the Clark County EMT Academy.

The video is nothing fancy. We shot the interviews on an iPhone in a conference room. But, hearing them talk in their own words is effective.

Kudos to these two and all of the other graduates. Also, a big round of applause to the that make no-cost training for high-demand careers possible.

We are so proud of Joanie, who is the Chair of the Assisting Lives in Las Vegas Thrift Shop Committee!

Her practice paid off this morning on FOX5 Las Vegas. She absolutely nailed a TV segment previewing National Thrift Shop Day on Sunday. She hit all of her points, was personable.... and, most importantly, HAD FUN!

Assisting Lives in Las Vegas is a 100% volunteer run nonprofit organization that does so much for our community and local students.
