I just finished Day Trading Attention by and lesson number one stopped me cold.
You are not in the financial industry.

You are not in the insurance industry.

You are not in whatever industry you think you are in.
You are in the ATTENTION industry.
Go where the eyeballs are. Go where the Attention is. If your people are on Instagram, you better be on Instagram. If they are scrolling Facebook at midnight, you better have something worth stopping for.
And once you show up do not ghost folks.
T.L.C. Not the singing group. Although they are legends.
"Time. Love. Consistency" is the key.
That is the only cheat code social media has ever had. You cannot buy your way to trust. You cannot shortcut your way to an audience that actually believes you. You have to show up, add value, and do it again tomorrow.

Nobody told me making 5 videos would come with this many bloopers. 😂
Mispronounced words. Mid-sentence giggles. Background chaos. Restarts. More restarts. And my woman laughing at me the entire time like I was the entertainment for the evening.
And you know what I am posting every single second of it.
Because this right here is the whole lesson.
Nobody is perfect. Not Gary Vee. Not the people you admire. Not me. And definitely not you. And that is not a weakness that is the most relatable thing you can put on the internet.
Post your mistakes loud. Own your bloopers. Laugh at yourself before anyone else gets the chance.
Because the people who only show you polished and perfect are performing. The people who show you the mess are building something real.
I am building something real.
Laugh with me. Cringe with me. And if my woman's reaction does not make you smile I do not know what will.

I just started reading Day Trading Attention by Gary Vee, and one lesson hit me hard:

👉 Attention comes before revenue.

You can have the best product, the best service, and the best intentions in the world, but if nobody knows you exist, none of it matters.

Too many business owners spend months perfecting their product while spending very little time getting attention. In today’s world, attention is the gateway to opportunity.

The question isn’t “How good is my business?”

The question is “How many people know my business exists?”

If attention disappeared tomorrow, what would happen to your business?
