If turnout is your game….I bet you’re typically not mad about a little rain! It’s been a great summer for pasture health here in central Indiana. However, it sure feels like we’re in a late summer dry down.

Nutrient & water intake is changing - especially in this week’s heat.

💧Livestock will be drinking more on pasture - regardless of air temps - double check those tanks!

🌱 Nutrient intake will decrease from pastures alone, as plants prepare for winter

⚠️Your forage plan should include these variables. Don’t have a game plan for winter? No problem. We have a lot of great options at this time!

Here in Indiana, it is dry, dry, DRY. 🌵 Over the last several weeks, your pastures’ nutrient profile has been depleting. Partially due to season, partially to dry conditions.
