When the Lexington Children's Museum asked Kismet to help create the CHI Saint Joseph Health exhibit, the goal wasn't simply to design a space. It was to create an experience that sparks curiosity and helps young minds connect with the world of healthcare.

Designing an exhibit like this requires thinking beyond what children will see. It means considering what they'll touch, question, explore, and remember long after they leave. With interactive, ADA-compliant features like a child-sized ambulance and X-ray machine, along with a mock exam room, pharmacy, pharmaceutical lab view, and hospital reception area, the exhibit invites all children to engage with healthcare concepts in a way that feels approachable, hands-on, and fun. Every element was designed to educate and help kids understand the world around them, while encouraging curiosity about the people, places, and professions that keep our communities healthy.

Projects like this remind us that great design isn't just about what people experience in the moment. It's about creating opportunities for discovery, imagination, and learning that last long after the visit ends.

Kismet’s role was to build a brand that could carry the weight of that responsibility with clarity and confidence. From naming the company, drawing inspiration from the world’s oldest paved road in ancient Egypt, to developing the visual identity, website, corporate stationery, digital business cards, email signatures, and press release materials, every element was designed to support long-term progress and help partner companies scale in their respective markets.

This project is proof that when you invest in the right teams and give them what they need to succeed, the results follow.

"It’s Not About You.” That was the theme of our latest Facts & Snacks, told by Julie through the lens of her career in the beer industry. It reminded us that one of the best things about any creative team is how each person approaches the work with different experiences, different perspectives, and different ways of finding a solution.

Julie’s presentation also sparked a conversation around something every marketer runs into: how do you keep the work fresh when the brand itself can’t change? The best creative work doesn’t reinvent the brand; it finds new ways to tell the story while staying true to what people already connect with.

That’s both the challenge and the fun of what we do!

Round two of AI vs. Designer. This time, we’re talking packaging.

As a 'thank you' to our clients and a reflection of Kismet's brand, we recently developed a 2026 Survival Kit from the ground up. Leveraging the offbeat concept, custom illustration, functional packaging design, and hand-picked items inside, every detail was intentional.

Then we gave AI a similar side quest to see how it would stack up. You can see the difference in the thinking and the 'why' behind every choice because creativity and personalization come from people, not prompts. So, if you think AI is taking our jobs… think again.
